Happy Friday, everyone! It is still so crazy to me that it's November - and it's been in the 70s here in Wilmington! I've been a little MIA the past couple of weeks - on Thursdays and Fridays until December, I am working on my continued education for my real estate license. Today is the final and test day for the first of my 3 continued education classes - but in 4 more weeks, the provisional status will be removed from my license!

When I think about what I'm thankful for, I always come back to one word: home. To me, home isn't just a place. It's a feeling, a state of mind, something that makes me feel whole. Home represents my family, which is the most important thing in the world to me. It represents an area that I love so much. It represents a place that has given me a roof over my head for years. And it represents a table to go back to, where I can share a meal with all of my loved ones surrounding me. Even though I don't reside in this place 24/7, it will always call me back home.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for...
... my family. Stephen. my friends. my home. my sweet pup. food on the table. good health. a warm place to rest my head each night. my job. this blog. I could continue on and on, but it all comes down to this: this week, and every week, I am thankful for the life I have been given, and I will work to appreciate every aspect of it, no matter when life seems tough.

Give thanks with a grateful heart. - 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Happy Thanksgiving, my friends.
