That One Dress

drape maxi (also in powder blue, blush, grey, and  burgundy) / shoes / clutch / earrings c/o Bauble Bar / lips

Do you ever have that one dress (or outfit) that makes you feel like a million bucks? This dress is that one for me. I knew we had several weddings to go to this summer, so back in the early spring, I was perusing the Revolve website when I came across this number. I immediately gravitated towards the cut and color, but I can be an indecisive person, so I held off on buying it. I just knew I would find something I liked better, but a few weeks came and went and I was still thinking about this dress. Finally, I decided to take the plunge and purchase it, and I can assure you that it was a good purchase.

The color, entitled seaweed, is so different and was a huge reason I loved this dress so much. There are a few gorgeous colors (a pale pink, a light grey) that also come in and out of stock on the Revolve site, so if you're in love like I am, I would sign up for the back in stock alert on the site. They also have an awesome feature where if you just love an item, they will reach out to the designer to see if they by chance still have your size. I wish I had known that before now because I found so many items on the Revolve site but by the time I go to purchase, it's sold out of my size. I'm also loving this draped option from the same designer - basically, I've realized I love anything by Shona Joy.

For the wedding over the weekend, I opted for a different pair of shoes but wish I had worn these instead, as I love how the lines of the dress work with the ankle strap instead of more of a caged look. Either way, this dress hasn't been a disappointment and I can't wait to wear it again. (P.S. I also think it would make a gorgeous bridesmaid dress!)
