What a week it's been already! It's safe to say that while I am beyond loving this warmer weather, I am beyond over the pollen. I rarely go to the doctor, but I gave in, thinking there was something pretty wrong because I felt so bad - oh no, I'm just allergic to the pollen along with everyone else! I've never had allergies affect me like this so to those of you who deal with them often, bravo! It has exhausted me and made me feel like I can hardly talk and swallow - very strange.
On a much happier note, the beautiful weather is here in NC (sorry to our midwest folks who are getting snow!), so I am bringing out the spring dresses. This Maggy London dress was my original plan for my Easter attire, but with our rainy and chilly weather I opted for something different instead. This dress, however, will be getting all kinds of usage all throughout spring! We have so many friends getting married, so this is the perfect dress to wear to a shower or even a garden party or luncheon.
I've always been a fan of capped sleeves, so paired with the lace overlay and scalloped hem, this dress is absolutely perfect. I feel like I preach versatility, but with my schedule, that's so important, so I love that I can wear heels or a cute pair of flats and make it work in any situation. Be sure to head over to the Maggy London website and shop their spring essentials - so many great pieces to choose from!
