Happy November! It is crazy to me that Halloween has come and gone and that November is already here. I love November & December, and pretty soon, the Christmas music will be in full force (yes...I start playing it way too early...) I came across this jacket last week, and of course, I wasn't able to turn it down considering it was green and plaid. I have also been looking for a moto jacket, so this was the perfect option (plus, it's a steal!). I paired it with a trusty black Old Navy dress that I've had for awhile and these OTK boots that you're probably tired of seeing. They just work so well with so many things that I can't get enough!
P.S. If you're looking for a great pair of gold hoops, look no further than Sheila Fajl! I've had a hard time with hoop earrings, but these are the only pair I like on myself! There are some larger options as well, but I love that these are dainty. You can find them at Bevello are shop them here.

Now that it's November, I also want to take the time to mention something in each post that I'm thankful for. Today, my grandmother's church lit a memorial candle in honor of her for All Saints Day. I went into it very optimistic, but was uncontrobally sobbing by the middle of the service because of how much it hurt to miss her. Though it's been almost half a year since she passed away, I still think about her almost every hour of every day, and now with the holidays approaching, it has been especially difficult. Though it's hard that my Nonny is no longer here, I am so thankful for all of the incredible memories that I have of our 24 years together + a relationship that was so valuable and irreplaceable. How lucky am I to have known somebody and something that saying goodbye is so awful. -- The Other Side of the Mountain
