"Because wearing ghost elbow patches to the pumpkin patch is so ghoul." Stephen stared at me for a few seconds before he just burst out laughing at my attempt at a joke. Oh, well. I was happy that the temperatures cooled off in time for our trip to the pumpkin patch. Don't get me wrong, I always love beautiful weather in the 70s, but there's something about being able to wear jeans and a sweater without burning up when you're picking out a few pumpkins. Speaking of pumpkins, one that I painted last year is still alive and going strong - it's sitting on my front porch with the newbies of the group. I just couldn't bear to throw him away since he's lasted so long.
I came across this ghost elbow patch sweater on ASOS last week, and I couldn't resist. Those little ghosts are just the cutest, and it's such a fun surprise to this basic black sweater. A little business in the front, party on the elbows, if you will. It was the perfect sweater to wear while picking out pumpkins {though a little cheesy...}. We also bought a fire pit for the back yard this weekend, and it was fun to break that out on Sunday evening. It's definitely cooled off here for sure - with lows in the low 40s! Definitely beautiful fall weather. Cheers to a new week!
