Weekending

Happy Spring and Happy Friday! I'm very excited the weekend is just about here, and even more excited that the winter season is coming to a close. Spring is one of my very favorite times of year. Blogging and the internet is a funny thing. This week, I received a facebook message on my blog facebook page that someone was using my photos as their own. Someone using the name of Kristina Melnik had created a facebook profile using my pictures. The profile photo was a photo from my blog, but the cover photo bothered me a little bit more because it was a candid selfie of my best friends and I when in Charleston last spring. I was very thankful that someone sent me a message -- someone I don't know might I add -- and I have reported the profile, so I'm hoping that will be the last of that.

I've always known that having a blog meant sharing a piece of myself as well as my privacy, but it was still a bit unsettling to see someone else pretending to be me. A friend of mine, who had a breach of her privacy as well, and she's a proud mom of twins, told me not to let this take the joy out of blogging, and I certainly don't plan to do that. I'm so glad I have this place and the blogging community, and the positives most definitely outweigh the negatives, but I've also learned that this can happen to anyone, and it is good to be careful. Now on to the good stuff!

southern
This week, I shared a look into the High Cotton ties shoot that I had a chance to be a part of. Check out their spring collection -- such perfect options for weddings (both groomsmen and guests).

getaway
I've started watching Southern Charm, and now I'm itching to go back to Charleston. Stephen and I have talked about planning a little weekend trip to go, so if we do decide to go, I would love suggestions of new things to do in this beautiful city.

sweet treat
How delicious to these yogurt popsicles look? Especially with the weather warming up, these would be a great sweet treat.

blog so hard
I loved Kristina's post sharing 6 tips she wished she knew when she started blogging. Whether you're a blogger new or old, it's a great post to check out.

look to love
Hello Fashion is one of my favorite blog reads, especially this time of year, because I love her style for early spring. This look is absolute perfection, and I definitely want these jeans.

Cheers to a wonderful weekend!
