The Home Tour

My little apartment has been my first home that's all my own. It's not the biggest space and the floor space is slightly awkward, but I love it anyway. One of my favorite details is the fireplace. I knew it was going to have one before I moved in, but I didn't know that the tiling would be as it is (and I just happened to purchase a blue couch.) It's still very much a work in progress, and I have had visions that haven't quite come to fruition, but despite all of that, it's been a fun project.

  1. My first "big girl" apartment will always be my favorite. It was so nice to have my own space & decorate the way I want. Yours looks great! :)

  6. I miss my one bedroom apartment. I really wanted to keep it to be like Carrie Bradshaw, but sadly that wasn't practical! I love the fireplace; that's actually on my to-do list for the house!

  8. There are lots of ways you can make your apartment seem spacious, but I honestly think it's lovely the way it is now. First apartments are always the best, because it will always be the first time you get to decorate a place and call it your own. Anyway, I think you did an awesome job with that apartment. Thanks for sharing that! Kudos and all the best to you! :)
