That Time I Forgot My Clothes

Once upon a time, I shared this dress that I wore to a wedding. It was a couple of summers ago and I had no idea how much people would fall in love with it. I absolutely loved the color of that dress and it's one of my favorite pieces in my closet. Flash forward two years later and this color is making another appearance in my wardrobe!

A couple of weekends ago, we had a wedding in Raleigh for friends of ours. I left in a rush on Friday afternoon as I was trying to make it to the rehearsal dinner (Stephen was a groomsman) and I managed to leave all of my hanging clothes behind. In hindsight, I probably had enough time to turn around and get them, but it did leave me with a good excuse to go shopping!

I stopped into Cameron Village in Raleigh and ended up finding this dress at Uniquities. It is seriously the most comfortable dress and while I was a little self-conscious of the hip (and booty) hugging shape, I decided to go for it and I think it will be getting some use as well!

What's funny about these photos is that they are so similar to the ones I shared in my other fave green dress. Though snapped years apart, the weather was the exact same - rainy and humid - so we ended up at one of my favorite photo spots under the shelter of our beach house's porches.
Ever completely forgotten your wardrobe at home or is that just me?!
