Today kicks off the first day of all-access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I shared what I purchased in this post along with a wish-list, but this post highlights what I loved, what I kept, what I'd recommend, and a few more in-stock favorites. This look above is what I'll probably be living in as we head into fall - but let's face it, with this heat, it's going to be awhile.

As I've mentioned before, my goal for stocking up in this sale was to focus on easy transitional pieces and a few things I "needed," like new workout pants and OTK boots. Thankfully, those voids were filled and though I could've gone crazy shopping, I stuck to the essentials and for the most part, I love what I purchased! Want to see my thoughts on each? Keep reading!
Ruffle Neck Sweater (sale $49.90, after sale $79.00) - Verdict: KEEP - size ordered: small
This little sweater is so cute! Love the ruffle detail and while it's way too incredibly warm to wear it now, it'll be perfect later in the year.
Eberjey Pajama Set (sale $67.90, after sale $102.00) - Verdict: RETURN - size ordered: small
If we're being honest, this was my disappointing purchase. I love Eberjey so I just knew I would fall in love with these PJs. However, I wish they were a little bigger (I should've sized up) and for the price, I don't love them anymore than I do a few pairs that I have that were significantly less pricey.
Alo High Waist Leggings (sale $72.90, after sale $110) - Verdict: KEEP - size ordered: small
These were a hit for me - I ordered them in black! I'm 5'5 and if you're around my height, they're long enough that you can pull them over your heels if you take barre. I love the side panels and they also suck me in, which is always a plus.
Over-the-Knee Boots (sale $159.90, after sale $239.95) - Verdict: KEEP - size ordered: 8.5 (I'm between an 8 and 8.5)
I've been looking for really good over the knee boots for the last two years and have yet to find a pair that I love. I have tiny ankles so everything is either concave or not comfortable, and so I'm happy to have these as we head into fall!
Sole Society Backpack (sale $39.90, after sale $59.95) - Verdict: KEEP
This little backpack is the cutest and based on the feedback after I shared it on Insta yesterday, I think everyone else is loving it too! It'll be perfect to use this weekend on my trip to Key West!
Leith Cardigan (sale $45.90, after sale $69.00) - Verdict: KEEP - size ordered: XS
Seriously loving this sweater! It's a perfect travel option and great for transitioning to fall. I did order an x-small in this one and was a little worried it would be too small, but it fit perfectly.
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings
I didn't order these because they were already in my closet! They are always my go-to during the chilly-weather seasons, so if you're in the market for a new pair, I would highly recommend! Check out this post to see them on.
With a week of the sale under our belts, things are quickly selling out, but there are still a few pieces I'm loving. I think I am done shopping at this point as I really don't need anything else at all, but if I were to give in to my shopping temptation, these are a few favorites.
