A Trip Back + Giveaway

This weekend, Stephen and I went to Statesville for a party to celebrate our friends' upcoming wedding. Statesville is only about 25 minutes from Birkdale Village, where I used to live, so on Sunday, we headed back to a favorite brunch spot and shopped around a little bit. We walked by my old apartment as well, and it was definitely bittersweet. Although I am much happier being closer to my hometown and to my family, I definitely miss my fist big-girl home, the atmosphere of BV, and all of the experiences I had there. We took a few impromptu pictures on the hill of which my apartment overlooked. It was great to be back, for sure, and I know we will be back soon.
