What a beautiful weekend we had! It was in the 70s all weekend, which means I spent a good deal of time outside. On Sunday, I could even tell I had gotten some sun, and there's no telling how much I may have gotten if I hadn't had to head to a meeting!
It's been a few weeks since our engagement party, but I'm excited to share my look for the day. As I mentioned in this post, I had a hard time coming up with what I wanted to wear and ordered quite a few things before finally deciding on this dress. (Note: It looked a little different with my long hair and spray tan, but what can you do).
I wanted a dress that was fun and of course white, but something that would also fit the party venue. I was still a little overdressed for our fun party spot, but I loved the dress and still get so many compliments on it. I paired the dress with a fun pair of heels. I love these heels as they are so classic and timeless and I know I'll get a lot of use out of them. I
Stephen got me the uber clutch from GiGi as part of my 22nd birthday gift, and I have used it so many times since then. It still looks brand new - although I may have to get a new one once August 5th rolls around with my new initials!
Even though it's not Wednesday, I do want to share a few more details from our engagement party. My parents were the generous hosts of the evening, and my mom and our friend Kelly from Provision Design Methods thought of so many great details to make the party memorable. From the canvas guest book to the polaroids for us to look back on, it was such a fun night.
