Don't you love it when you can find a piece for less that looks almost identical to a more expensive item you've had your eye on? I know I do. That's how I felt about the mules I wore in Monday's post - I had planned on spending more, but was able to scoop up a comparable pair for much less! I'm not quite ready for fall weather, but I am perusing stores and doing some online shopping to update my wardrobe for fall.
There are some things I'm more likely to splurge on than others. I love a nice pair of sunglasses, but I'm not going to get that expensive pair every single time. That being said, here are a few pieces that you can pick and choose as to how much you want to spend! These Target mules are almost an exact replica of the Vince Camuto Annetta leather block heel ($139) - by choosing the save option (Target - $34.95), you can save $104.
I also came across these Theirry Lasry Lively sunglasses. While I love them, the $435 price tag is a little too much for me to justify spending right now. If you opt for the Warby Parker Marcel ($95), you can save $340.
The Chloe Marcie crossbody ($1,395) is a gorgeous fall bag, one I would love to have. But currently, I have my eye on an LV Neverfull, so that will be my splurge for the time being. I would opt for the steal, a comparable piece that by Sole Society that is only $50.
Last but not least, I absolutely love both of these wine-colored booties. The Ted Baker Lorca 2 comes in at $230, while the Sole Society Skye Chelsea version is $90. In this case, I would splurge, mostly because I love the higher heel, but both options are a great statement piece for fall.

There is something to be said about investing in a classic piece - I find myself doing that with things I really want and that I will wear or use frequently. More often than not, you get better quality when you choose to splurge. But why not opt for the steal a time or two?
Let me know - would you splurge or steal?
