Going Gatsby

Feeling very "Daisy Buchanan"? We sure are.
\
The Roaring 20s and the Art Deco era have majorly influenced style and fashion, but this year's release of The Great Gatsby has certainly added to the obsession with this fabulous and fun time period. When I took my interior design classes, we studied different eras of design -- and of course the Art Deco era was an influence. It translates to fashion as well, and from red carpet and beyond, so many 2013 pieces have "Gatsby era" inspiration in them.

Though the modern-day fashionista probably won't be putting on a flapper dress for everyday wear, these finds have just enough 1920s inspiration to make them perfect.

Chunky jeweled rings like these are very resemblant of the 1920s. You can find both vintage and modern pieces in this style.

It is safe to say that I am OBSESSED with the Gatsby style. I loved every minute of the film -- from the decor to the fashion, parties, music and everything in between.

We're "Going Gatsby." So should you.
