How is Father's Day already here? I used to feel like this holiday to celebrate the father figures in our lives was deep in the heart of summer, but this year, I feel like summer is just getting here! I love that we take a day to celebrate those near and dear to our hearts. If you're like me, you don't say thank you to your dad, grandpa, or father figure nearly enough - and so today, I'm taking a special moment to thank my dad.
Daddy - thanks for always being there for me. For encouraging me to pursue opportunities. For suggesting I get my real estate license. (I still should have listened to you about that whole interior design thing...) For your constant joking that I act like annoys me but does make me laugh. For just being you. I love you!
What's so special about dads is that I can imagine that most rarely expect something - it could be a simple card, a homemade gift, or just time spent together.
