Life Lately

If you follow along with me on instagram, you may have seen my post about my sweet grandmother. She and I are incredibly close, and over the weekend, her health took a decline as she continues her 4-year battle with ALS. The past month has been a bit of a change. I'd been planning a "life lately" post due to some changes I've had professionally. I've recently taken on more responsibility in my career, which has made my blogging schedule a little bit different. I'm delayed in responding to blog comments, but please don't think that I'm not reading them, because I am! I'd also begun trying a new posting schedule, doing a 4 posts a week instead of 5, as I was interested in having certain posts reach a broader readership.

After this past weekend, there is a good chance the blog will have some inconsistency for a little while. Blogging is a bit of a refuge for me, so I'll still be here quite a bit, but I thought I would share with you all what is going on personally as well, as I feel like so many of you are friends even though we may not have met in person. I could be at my regular 4-5 post schedule, or it could be none at all, just depending on what is going on my with my grandmother, as my family will always be first. Again, blogging takes my mind off of things, so I hope you still continue to visit, as I will still be posting (the rest of the week is scheduled)! I shared this post a couple of months ago, which shares a little bit into my grandmother's battle with ALS and a peek into our relationship. Any thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated! We're not sure how the next days, weeks, and months will turn out, but I'm hoping for a miracle, as my moments with her are so incredibly precious. Thank you for being so supportive! The comments and messages I've received have meant so much.

  19. I've been thinking about you a ton lately! You just do whatever you need to my friend! I hope you get as many moments with her as you can. Family does come first. Sounds like you have had a lot going on with work too. I know what you mean though, blogging is kind of a refuge. A little break to think about fashion instead of other stressful life situations.
