Is anyone else glad it's Friday? It's been an insanely busy week. I'm talking the kind where you look at your clock to see it's 4:00pm but wish it was only lunchtime because you have so much left to complete before the workday is over. The days go by quickly but the week seems to drag because of how exhausted you are... Needless to say, I couldn't be happier that the weekend is here! During the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale back in the fall, I fell in love with this jacket and sent the link to my mom as a potential wish list item. It was sold out before the sale was over, so I wasn't sure if I would ever get it. Imagine my surprise when I opened it as one of my Christmas presents -- I had forgotten about it! I fell in love with the color, style, and leather detail, and I've gotten so much use out of it this season already. Though it's not the most perfect snow jacket per se, it's the perfect coat for North Carolina winters, and is a lot warmer than it seems.
Though it's already February, there are still plenty of chilly days left ahead of us. This time last year, NC was preparing for a big snow by our standards (almost a foot!) I'm still holding out for a snow day or two, and there is still plenty of time to wear a few gorgeous coats.

I'm still enjoying the heart of summer and in now way am I ready for it to be over, but Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale definitely has me ready to gear up my wardrobe for fall! I have found so many amazing things to add to my wish list that will change up my looks this fall -- and I may or may not be purchasing a few of them!
I've found a great selection of tops, bottoms, jackets, shoes, bags, and makeup that would be perfect for my wardrobe. If only I could have them all! So, I'm trying out the kimono this fall, and I have to say, I love it! It is perfect paired with jeans and boots for those fall days that don't quite need a sweater or jacket. I love the print on this one as well (a gift from a friend). They are chic and cozy, all in one -- definitely thinking I'll need more in my closet.
