Here's a little peek into what North Carolina is like: Sunday is a high of 80, mostly sunny, with a light breeze. Feels more like summer than spring, right? And less than a week later, the high is back in the 50s with wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour. The old adage March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb seems to really apply in this situation!
Though all of us in Wilmington want to believe that spring is here, the bottom line is that we still have some of those chilly days ahead. Despite that, sometimes by this time of year, I'm completely over my fall and winter wardrobe, but I also don't want to invest in a ton of heavy sweaters that I might not get to wear. Because of that, I'm always looking for great sweaters that transition into seasons. Even in the heat of summer, I'll keep a sweater on hand because the wind on the boat can be chilly, the nights are sometimes cool, and restaurants are always freezing! And now that spring is within our fingertips, I'm always looking for fun colors!
