Bridesmaid Luncheon

I'm excited to start sharing bits and pieces of our wedding weekend, starting with my bridesmaids' luncheon! My best friend Sarah and her sweet mom hosted a wonderful bruncheon for the on Friday to officially kick off the wedding festivities and it was so wonderful getting to spend time with some of the most important ladies in my life.

I have always loved the Surf Club at Wrightsville Beach, so it was the perfect place for a relaxing brunch and made for such a beautiful setting. I honestly had no clue that Sarah was great at florals, but she designed each arrangement herself and the tables were gorgeous. From the signature cocktail to the delicious lunch choices to the key lime for dessert, I loved every moment of it!
For bridesmaids gifts, I chose a pretty little Plum Pretty Sugar robe and earrings to go with the gals' bridesmaids dresses, topped with a cute personalized cookie from One Belle Bakery. I love these cute robes so much that I wish I had ordered myself one! I also find a white floral robe for my flower girl so that she could match the big girls while we all got ready.

I decided to wrap the earrings but take the bridesmaids' robes on hangers to eliminate wrinkles, and I found the cutest little Etsy shop that makes custom gift tags. I'm not an artist at all, so I loved that the shop could create a handpainted tag that went along with the design of the robes.
My sweet bridesmaids also gifted me with a few sweet things, including a book filled with letters and photos from each of them and this gorgeous illustration of mine and Stephen's relationship. It was designed by a local artist and includes Meredith College and NC State, which is where we went to school and met; Charlotte, the area we moved to right after college; our Wrightsville Beach home, which is where Stephen proposed; River Landing Country Club and First Baptist Church, our ceremony and reception venues; and finally our home together. I absolutely loved this gift and can't wait to hang it in our home.
I am so thankful to Sarah and her mom, both who I consider the dearest of friends, for kicking off the weekend in such a fun and relaxing way! I felt spoiled all during the luncheon and couldn't have loved spending time with my girlfriends any more.
