Happy Friday! It's hard to believe that this time next week, we'll be kicking off wedding weekend with my bridesmaid luncheon and then the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner! The last few months have flown by so quickly, so I'm excited to share a coffee date + a few confessions.
Questions lately:
Are you going on a honeymoon? We are! We are going to St. Lucia - but we are waiting a week in between our wedding and our trip. Though part of me wishes we were jet setting right away, it'll be so nice have a few breaths to do a little moving (Stephen is moving in with me in our house that week), work on the store, and get organized before we head off.
Does this romper fit true to size? Yes! It runs TTS and is a great summer wardrobe option.
Where do you like to eat in Wilmington? I love Mexican food, so Tower 7 and K-Bueno are two great options. Stephen and I also like to go to Osteria Cicchetti, which has great Italian food (and it's also what we had for dinner the night we got engaged).
How is the store coming? What brands are you selling? This is a loaded question! The store is coming along well. We built out dressing rooms last week and put down new flooring this week, so it's fun to see my vision slowly coming to life. I will say I've learned so much about what I don't know about running a business. But it's been fun to learn new things for sure. As far as brands, a few that we'll have are Southern Frock, C/meo Collective, Hutch, Parker, Gretchen Scott, T.Marie Designs, Beth Ladd Collections and more. I can't wait to share!

+ This beach dress - can't wait to wear it in St. Lucia.
+ This swimsuit - I sent it back. I thought I could make it work on our trip, but I laughed when I put it on. I just couldn't pull it off.
+ This top from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I've worn it several times already but would recommend sizing down.

Confessions lately:
+ I definitely had a meltdown over wedding koozies last week. That's all I'll say about that.
+ I have not worked out or eaten healthy nearly like I planned to. I kept saying "Oh, well I have 6 months" and then "Oh, well I have 6 weeks." We're now one week away and I'm pretending to eat healthy by going to SurfBerry and getting an acai bowl. The struggle is real.
+ This whole opening a business + getting married thing is no joke. I've always been a "busy" person, but I will be the first to admit that while I didn't think starting a business would be easy, I definitely underestimated the every day stress that comes along with it.
+ I am just not loving my MacBook Air anymore. When I first purchased it, I mostly only used it for blogging and didn't edit photos nearly as much. Now I use at least 3 of the Adobe products a day and it just doesn't have nearly enough storage to get me through my day-to-day without the use of a backup. Has anyone else had that issue?
+ I want to buy so many things for our honeymoon but just can't commit!
+ With the store opening soon and Stephen moving in, I have become obsessed with cleaning out my closet (although it's made a mess in the meantime). A lot of it I'm donating, but I also have some things listed on Poshmark. Check it out
