Wedding Wednesday: Invitations & Paper

Happy Wedding Wednesday! This past weekend, my mom and I met with Dot from The Fisherman's Wife, who guided us through the invitation ordering process. My proof is set to come in this week, but today I thought I would share some of my invitation inspiration.

When it came to invitations, I knew I wanted something classic and timeless. The invitation sets the tone for the rest of the wedding, and I've been drawn to classic elements and neutrals so I wanted the invitation to reflect that. Choosing an invitation was honestly fairly easy since I knew the look I was going for.
I love watercolor elements & personal crests for wedding paper! Whether it's used on the invitation or in some other way (ceremony program, napkins, etc.), it's such a great personal touch for the day.
Kristina from Medicine & Manicures will be doing my calligraphy for the wedding. As soon as I started thinking of invitations, I knew she would be a great person to ask as she did her own for her saves the dates and invites. Check out her save the dates here.
How adorable are these program fans? Our ceremony is in a church but still in August, so this is such a fun way to keep guests cool.

I can't wait to see our invitation proof and continue the planning for our various paperie. Any tips and tricks?
