Barre Clothes for Every Budget

Happy Monday! It was another fly-by weekend that I am sad to see go. Friday night, I headed back to Raleigh for a girls night with a former coworker turned very close friend. We talk at least once a week but hadn't seen each over since October so it was so fun to catch up, eat a wonderful dinner and brunch, and just hang out. On Saturday night, Stephen and I got dressed up (as you may have seen on Insta) for the Sheriff's Ball, which is a huge fundraiser held at the country club where I work. It was so fun to get all dressed up, help raise money for a great cause, and hit the dance floor.

Ever since I started taking Pure Barre, I've had a newfound obsession with workout clothes. For me, the clothes I wear to class compliment my workout, and I'm not just talking about the way they look on. A few weeks ago, I wore a new sports bra to class that was so cute (and a steal) but was so uncomfortable that all through class, all I did was tug on it - so distracting and definitely not worth any price. I try to mix and match less expensive pieces with higher end ones, but I never want to compromise my comfort during a workout because the class ends up being a waste.

For this look, my top was from Target, my leggings from Old Navy, and my sports bra from Alo Yoga - the sports bra being the most expensive piece in the mix. I've had a hard time paying more than $50 for a sports bra, but I tell you - I couldlive in this one. So comfortable, but definitely meant for a smaller chest. I also have a couple of sports bras from F21 that I really like, as well as from Target and Old Navy. For me, it's all about a good mixture and finding the pieces that I feel confident and comfortable in. I'm sharing barre (or workout) pieces for any budget - some of which I own myself.
