Hacci

Free People sweater, Hanky Panky bralette, Old Navy mesh leggings, Nike sneakers, LV bag

Happy Monday and Leap Day! I am very sad to see this weekend come to an end. Last week seemed do drag on, so I was happy for Friday and the weekend, and the gorgeous weather we had here in North Carolina only made it that much better. On Saturday, Stephen and I took Sophie for a long walk on the beach. As much as I'm ready for the warm beach weather, I love going to the beach at this time of year because it's so peaceful. We got a two mile walk in (trying to get those 10,000 steps on the FitBit!), and even though it was chilly, I was just happy to be there.

Sunday was spent doing a little bit of clean up, but I also spent some time outside. One thing I love about my parents' home is that even on a chillier day, you can still spend time in the sun. I sat on their back deck where it wasn't quite as breezy, and even in the high 60s, I still managed to get a sunburn. I found myself wrapped up in a book and when I went back inside, my entire left arm and chest was a little on the pink (okay - red) side. Sunburn in February? Hopefully that means spring is making its way here.

I've had such a busy schedule over the past few months where I've had to get ready all weekend that now that I've had some weekends to myself, I've been living in athleisure clothes. I purchased these Nike sneakers and was a little worried of how they would hold off if I walked or ran in them due to how lightweight they are, but they are seriously my new favorite shoes. If you're looking for a new pair of tennis shoes, give these a try. I've also been living in this Free People hacci top - it's perfect for a warmer day, but how cute would it be over a bikini with denim shorts?

I have a busy week ahead (no athleisure clothes for me until Saturday...) but I'm looking forward to an exciting week at work as well as some new collaborations on the blog. P.S. I've started a new series - Coffee Chat -- where I'll be getting a little more personal and answering any questions you may have. Check out the intro post here - and feel free to comment or email with any thoughts or questions! And one more P.S. Who were your best dressed favorites for the Oscars?
