Cutwork Lace

ASOS top (also love this one), Blank NYC denim, Halogen heels (similar), Fossil crossbody

How is Monday here already? These few days flew by and I'm not quite ready to jumpstart this week... we had much needed warm weather which reminded me of how thankful I am to live at the beach. Stephen and I spent some time outside with Sophie and now I'm wishing that spring would make its way and stay! If it's not going to snow, I'm ready for a new season, for sure. A season full of pretty lace details, light and airy colors, and many warm walks at the beach.

I ordered this lace top before I went to Dallas, unsure of how I would style it. I hoped to wear it with a white skirt for the Galentine's event Shelby and I hosted, but unfortunately, the skirt I ordered didn't work out. I'm still holding out for that perfectly girly white skirt to wear with this top, but until then, denim it is. I fell in love with the high neck and lace cutout details, so I'm hoping to find a few ways to wear this top all throughout spring. This color (reminds me of Pantone's Serenity) is sold out but there it is available in white!

Today is also two very special people in my life's birthdays. My sweet Nonny would be 74 on this day. I always spent time with her on her birthday so this day is very bittersweet. I am so thankful she is no longer in pain but I can't help but wish we were celebrating together. On another note, it's my best friend Sarah's 25th! She is a nurse in Oklahoma, where her husband is in medical school, so I'll be celebrating with her in spirit. But the happiest of birthdays to two very important people! I love y'all!
