Windowpane + Wax Jeans

top: Old Navy, coated jeans: c/o Spanx, shoes: Nordstrom, bag: Kate Spade (this year's version), earrings: Sheila Fajl

Anyone else mad for flannels, plaid, and grids of any kind these days? I've been working on my continuing education for my real estate license (I have class on Thursdays and Fridays until December), so during my lunch break, I'll do a little shopping after I grab a quick bite to eat. I was browsing through Old Navy when I came across this windowpane shirt and knew I had to have it, and I've already worn it a couple of times. I purchased the XS in this top because when I held it up it seemed huge - I love how it fits with this look, tucked in a skirt, or even loose with a pair of jeans, but I would suggest going to a S or M if you want a more oversized look (I have the small in a different print and it doesn't seem much bigger).

I paired it with this fab pair of coated denim thanks to Spanx. I've been wanting a pair of waxdenim jeans for awhile, and these fit nicely and run true to size + they give off a different vibe than a traditional pair of black skinnies. Like most girls in this world, I've used some version or another of Spanx for awhile, so it was fun to give this denim a try. I've also had the chance to try some other great products out - and love them all (the leather leggings = perfect!).

And today, on this beautiful Veterans Day, I am incredibly thankful for those who have served and continue to serve our country.
