Cutout

dress: Nordstrom, shoes: Shake Shoes, clutch: GiGi New York, sunnies: Ray-Ban

Happy Monday! If you follow along on Insta, you may have seen that I had a pretty busy weekend! On Friday night, Stephen & I went to the beautiful wedding of some friends of ours. Saturday morning, we ran a few errands, had brunch (if you're in the Wilmington area and want a quick breakfast, Beach Bagels is a must!), and then I headed off to celebrate my friend Courtney's 25th! We did something unique during the day; we peddled along on the Trolley Pub, which rides you around downtown Raleigh and drops you off at a few spots along the way. We had such a great time, had dinner, and then went out Saturday night! Sunday - it was back towards the east coast for my grandparents' homecoming at their church. And Sunday afternoon, we were lucky to have some gorgeous weather! I spent so much time outside - I probably should've spent it indoors cleaning and organizing, but it was too nice to be inside!

I wore this ponte sheath dress to the wedding on Friday night - I scrambled to get ready so I wish that I had been as put together as in these photos, but I did love the dress. I was sold on the cutout back details, and it's thick enough that it can be worn into the cooler weather with tights and booties or close-toe heels. Plus, I love that Nordstrom ships quickly - I ordered this Sunday evening (with no express shipping available) and was just taking a chance that it would be here on time, and it arrived on Thursday! Just in the nick of time. My mom joked that everyone will think that I only own this one pair of shoes, but I just can't stop wearing them! There are only a few sizes left but they're less than $20 - and seriously, they go with everything!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Happy Monday!
