High Cotton

Back in the fall, I had the opportunity to be a part of High Cotton's shoot for their spring collection. High Cotton began as a tie company, but has expanded to include a variety of apparel and accessories for both men and women. I love that High Cotton is a family-based company that supports the textile industry of North Carolina. It truly is made in the South, and brings back a "true Southern accent." They have the most perfect storefront in downtown Raleigh, but their products are sold in a variety of stores as well as online.

The day of the shoot was definitely interesting, as I had never met the two guys who would be modeling the ties, and we only had a few minutes before we jumped right in. I was a little nervous at first, but both of the guys had done this before and were fun to be around, and the High Cotton brothers who were styling the shoot were so friendly and full of Southern hospitality, of course. I also had my friend Shelby there, who works for High Cotton, and she helped in picking out my looks based on what pieces I brought for the shoot. The photography was done by the incredible Anne Rhett, and I have fallen in love with her work. I hope you enjoy these photos and the revival of Southern tradition in this spring-inspired shoot. Be sure to check out their spring collection -- it is amazing!
